Artist & Educator
Sarah Stracke is an artist and educator living and working in Springfield, Missouri. Sarah earned her Bachelor's in Art + Design Education and her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2018 from Missouri State University. She continues to explore an artistic dialogue primarily through photography and sculpture. Her work investigates interactions and associations within personal familial and geographical relationships. Domestic beauty, memory, and midwestern landscape are themes which pulse through her images. Her visual interpretations assist her in forming her own presently evolving identity.
Sarah is continually invested in cultivating the arts within her home community and is also involved in regional and national art advocacy committees like Missouri Council of the Arts and National Art Education Association.
